based on what I've studied on multiple papers, for peptide and protein identification Alpha-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (CHCA) is an appropriate matrix to use, I also know that the CHCA powder should be mixed water/acetonitrile with 0.1% TFA (trifluoroacetic acid), but I do not know in what ratio should I mix these components for the most high-resolution result.

Rather, I am recommending you to focus your attention on the following references [1-3], dealing with an innovative stochastic dynamic mass spectrometric method for quantification of analytes in condensed phases, which appears applicable to different ionization methods, including the MALDI-one. Perhaps, you are not familiar with this method, because of it is our own-authored (mine and to my co-author's according to the shown authorship, below) innovative theory and model formulas published more recently. It is capable of exact quantifying analytes within the framework of the whole spectrum of m/z-values, encompassing from low molecular weight analytes to biomacromolecules.

Alpha-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (CHCA, 100 mg/mL, acetonitrile-water (1:1, v/v%) with 0.1 % TFA) was used as matrix. The matrix and the sample were mixed in the ratio of 1:1 and 0.25 μL was deposited onto the stainless steel 384-well sample plate and allowed to air-dry.

It is pointed out in this paper that for MALDI-TOF MS investigation of microbiological samples α-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (CHCA), 2,5-dihydroxy benzoic acid (DHB), and 3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (sinapinic acid) are the most useful matrices.
