One book comes to mind that is Technopoly: The surrender of Culture to Technology ( first edition in 1993) by Neil Postman. In various parts of the book the author discusses how technology in modern time has effects upon our concepts of politics, religion, history, privacy and truth! I hope it is helpful. All the best.

There is an interesting book but unfortunately it is written in French. It tries to detect the presence of science in the Holy Books.
