For wound pathogens (aerobes) besides nutrient agar, MacConkey agar, Chocolate agar, and Blood agar are to be used. Incubation is at 37-degree C.

But anaerobes, need specific anaerobic culture media and conditions.

Depends on the microbe. Some grow only under anaerobic conditions, some require supplements to media.

Blood agar is conventional for recovery and might help to incubate at 37C.

Add another type of culture media depend on what you want to isolate type of bacteria then incubate at 37 C degree in aerobic and anaerobic conditions
