I want to develop a web application for some volunteer services that people can use it.

but after people join that i want to use the data from information form and feedback forms for analyzing the impact of this app on mental-health in the community.

the most challenge that i have is: my idea is about helping people and do volunteer work for them online. my professor told me is a good project but in psychology or social major and its not good for computer engineering.

So , since I'm serious about doing it please direct me how can i do it with the best connection between data since and my idea that i can make a satisfied my professor.

we can do some analysis on data from our data base but he told me it doesn't relate directly to computer PhD student.
