I trying to synthesis the PANI film on ITO electrode of area 2cm2 and counter electrode is platinum sheet of area 6.25 cm2 both are in 40 ml solution of aniline & H2SO4 prepared in 0.05:0.25 molar concentration ratio in deionized water. Ag/AgCl is reference electrode. I am choosing the parameters as follow:
Pre-step current (A) = 0
Pre-step delay time(s) = 0.5
Step 1 Current (A) = 0.7
Step 1 time (s) = 600
Step 2 Current (A) = 0.7
Step 2 time (s) = 0.00
Sample Period (s) = 0.1
Decimate off
Program is run for time 0.4 s , after that show overload and stop. Please suggest me where I am wrong .
O.7 A is a too high value in this case. The potentiostat is not able to polarize the working electrode in such a way to obtain this current value.
First try a CV to see the correct value of the current that may be obtained.
I suggest you to use CV (repeated n times), not CP for this synthesis.

I suggest you to use CA (E= 1000, 1100 and 1200 mV).
i run CV with scan limit -0.2V to 1.5V. Obtained cyclic voltammogram is attached here. what should be posssible interpretation?
CV will be the ideal one. Over the cycles you will get polymeric PANI on ITO
