The RG is nearly a perfect scientific forum that is professionally moderated. I suggest the inclusion of a research related advertising section in the RG website. This section is to be used for announcing scientific events, call for contributions... etc such that the non-commercial constraint is satisfied. The structure of that section may be like that of the questions section. What is your opinion about this suggestion?
Very good idea. Especially a call for papers section would be desirable from my point of view. Thanks for your initiative.

Good idea - but it needs to consider the ethics and the economics of advertising. For the most part research on advertising published in marketing journals tend not to reflect the weight of evidence from economic studies about the harm advertising inflicts on society when not regulated and tends to ignore also the case for taxing advertising (however useful in some contexts) as a vice good.
