I think it is better for you to read articles in field of social entrepreneurship and find the research gap in them. pay more attention to read valuable articles with top impact factor and Q1 and also focus on future research.

You have sound advice from Heather Douglas@ and Saeid Nosrati@. A good PhD is very hard work. You have to be genuinely interested, if not passionate about finding the answers to significant questions to enjoy the process. Picking up somebody else's ideas on an appropriate topic is not a good plan.

Read and read again; discover issues and unanswered questions. As Wassim Aloulouy@ suggests, see if answers, models or even approaches seem relevant, useful or appropriate for your context. Then forget about a 'topic' and work on a good research question

Determinants of the development of social entrepreneurship and the increase in the importance of social innovation.

The discussion on the issues of social entrepreneurship inspired me to formulate the following question:

Has the importance of entrepreneurship and social innovation in the context of the economic development of the national economy been growing in recent years?

On the basis of the above considerations and conclusions from the discussion on interesting issues discussed, I formulated the following thesis that in recent years the importance of entrepreneurship and social innovation in the context of the economic development of the national economy has been growing. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the systems of interventionist activation of entrepreneurship and innovation, including entrepreneurship and social innovation as part of pro-development, Keynsian, anti-crisis socio-economic policy. The issue of improving pro-development, Keynsian, anti-crisis socio-economic policy is particularly important in the period of economic slowdown in the national and global economy. Below I have described the key determinants confirming the formulated research thesis. To the above discussion I would like to add the following conclusion formulated as a summary of my previous considerations on this topic: Determinants of the development of social entrepreneurship and the increase in the importance of social innovation.

In recent years, social entrepreneurship has been developing very dynamically. The current dynamic development of social entrepreneurship as well as social and open innovation is largely determined by the implementation of ICT information technologies, Internet technologies and technologies typical of the current fourth technological revolution Industry 4.0. In my opinion, the development of the Internet, e-commerce, the use of social media portals to provide information and marketing services, the development of crowdfounding, marketing innovations on the Internet, new forms of electronic payments, online banking, advanced data processing technologies Industry 4.0 are important determinants of the development of social entrepreneurship developed with using the internet. The dynamic development of the above-mentioned fields of technology, economy, finance, social activity of people, etc. will determine the development of social entrepreneurship and open innovations in the coming years. In recent years, a new, particularly rapidly developing field determining the dynamic development of innovation and social entrepreneurship developed via the Internet is the issue of innovative startups effectively using ICT, Internet and Industry 4.0 information technologies in their development. Therefore, in developed countries, the issue of improving instruments for activating the development of innovative startups is added to pro-development socio-economic policies. Due to the projected slowdown in economic growth, support programs for the development of innovative startups and other emerging micro enterprises are being created in many countries. The high priority of activating the development of entrepreneurship and innovation results from the high share of micro-enterprises and other economic entities of the SME sector in the context of the analysis of the entire national economy, including employment, participation in labor markets, manufactured products and services, in Gross Domestic Product, discharged to the budget your taxes etc.

In line with the above, in my opinion the importance of entrepreneurship and social innovation in the context of the economic development of the national economy has been growing in recent years. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the systems of interventionist activation of entrepreneurship and innovation, including entrepreneurship and social innovation as part of pro-development, Keynsian, anti-crisis socio-economic policy. I would like to add the following to my comment above. I propose the following research topic in the field of social entrepreneurship: Analysis of the correlation between the issue of changes in the tax burden for micro-enterprises and the change in the scale of development of entrepreneurship, including social entrepreneurship. In addition, the research issue is also the analysis of the correlation between the exemption from the need to formalize business (i.e. business registration, formalization of business operations, the issue of reporting business to public offices and the level of tax, para-tax and other burdens) and the scale of small, local development micro entrepreneurship, including social entrepreneurship.

I agree with most of the comments before and Dariusz Prokopowicz gave an excellent suggestion but I have to say that it is much better to 'organically' come up with a topic on your own, because you will have an emotional tie to it which is crucial in times when your research gets stuck for whatever reason... Passion for the topic is the KEY.

When you write some sort of a paper, YES then you can maybe use suggestions (I actually never did that as I have waaaay more ideas for research than time to do it) from other researchers and act upon it.

1. Comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the SME sector companies and startups that were created and developed on the basis of entrepreneurship implemented in the traditional model and the social entrepreneurship model.

2. Characteristics of new types of innovative, technological startups that were created and developed on the basis of the business use of open innovations, including e.g. innovative communication solutions, innovative forms of providing specific information services on social media portals, innovative forms of social financing of business ventures, etc. and other business entities operating in the sphere of new social media.

3. Analysis of the impact of social aspects on the development of social enterprises operating in accordance with the principles of corporate social responsibility in economies defined as social market economies, in which social aspects of activity are strongly developed, in which social and socio-economic policy plays an important role in the context of the role of the state in economy.
