If you have institutional access you can use the great website https://www.citethemrightonline.com and select APA 7th, then the type of content you want to cite e.g. journal, book, government report, blog, website etc.
Below is how you would cite a journal article in APA 7th:
In-text: "Research by Smith (2012)..."
Reference list:
Author(s). (Year of publication). Title of article. Title of journal, Volume number(Issue), Page numbers.
If you don't have access to Cite Them Right, for traditional publications like journal articles you could use Google Scholar, search for your article, click on the "Cite under the article name and pick APA (but I'm not certain if that's in APA 7th or earlier).
You could also download a reference manager like Mendeley, Zotero or Endnote if you'll be doing lots of referencing, then get the plug-in for Word and it will let you cite in whichever style you want (and switch between styles) from the reference manager.
