Thanks for the information.  I will look it up.  I found this organism under the skin on the caudal peduncle.  It was not on top, but under the skin.

these organism are monogeneans but it is not possible to specify the species 

Clinostomum metacercarium seems like a reasonable determination based on color,size,shape,where found.

It seems to fit quite well with the metacercaria which I describe as Clinostomum complanatum in terms of host, site and appearance. This has previously been recorded, as C. complanatum or C. marginatum, from Phoxinus eos in Ontario on more than one occasion. Big worm for a small fish!
