APSIM (less detailed than Hydrus, more complex than HowLeaky) and HowLeaky are both very good. Note that simulating soil water content requires a detailed knowledge of the water retention and evaporation characteristics of the soil. These are not easily estimated without detailed measurements.

Soil evaporation is easily, but not accurately estimated from the formulae in the Allen et al FOA model (link in the reply above)

You can equally use AquaCrop (FAO Crop Simulation Model), a water-stress model and provides water balance components and root zone moisture profiles on a daily, monthly and seasonal basis. However it requires info on water retention characteristics but it also has default soil parameters for you to make a run.

Thank you so much for your suggestions of using a specific software to solve my issue. However, I prefer to have the soil moisture model described as a sequence equations so I can insert these equations into my model using my prefered programing language. So, I will appreciate any one who can provide me with the model with simple equations and uses the meteorological data and soil characteristic as well for describing the model. Regards to all.
