i am working in HbA1c biosensor modifications, and i need a protein standard for my experiments both glycated and non-glycated.
i need a kit or manual procedure for the isolation of protein to use it as standard.
Hi Abar, I recommend Exocell
http://www.exocell.com/reagents.html
for glycated Hb standards.
Glycated proteins can be isolated using immobilized boronic acid. These are available from many companies including Fisher
https://tools.thermofisher.com/content/sfs/manuals/MAN0011297_Immobil_Boronic_Acid_Gel_UG.pdf
thank you so much, Steingrimur Stefansson
is that Glycated standard blood or pure protein (i don't want blood and all standard i saw it commercially are blood)
and great for that acid, I will try to order it and do the isolation
thank you again
