Work Offered Factors affecting choice of transport modes With the expansion of transportation options, people have gained access to multiple opportunities as well as expanded horizons of career options. However, even after multiple policies ,as well as design, approaches in the major cities of the developing countries, the rise in the use of public transport has been observed to be very slow. In parts of cities, the accessibility to public transport is limited because of multiple aspects such as affordability, travel time, safety, comfort etc.This study aims to investigate and rank order the factors that affect the people to choose one mode of transport over other for daily use. Learning outcome through the project: 1. Detailed understanding of people's perception of transport options 2.
