I inoculated a 24hr incubated lawn culture with filter papers dipped in two bacterial broth cultures. why is the zone of clearing irregular?

the lawn culture is prepared with Mycolibacterim smegmatis. 'yellow' and 'white' indicates environmental samples isolated from lake water. 'control' contains nutrient broth.
