I have problem with accopling of carboxilic ácido with an amine using DCC?

Hello everyone, I am currently carrying out the synthesis of amines using the coupling agent DCC. However, the reaction always leads to the formation of the symmetrical anhydride and prevents the corresponding amide from forming. Can anyone give me some advice on how to avoid the formation of this symmetrical anhydride?
