Title of the paper "1. Bridging the skill gap of Library and Information Professionals with Information Technology skills and Competencies and the role of LIS schools: a critical review"
@Mamidi I don't get your point how you want to split a review paper, that has already been written, just for the sake of reducing its length. You mentioned that it's 35 pages lengthy and that might be, in your document file, counting around 12000-13000 words which not a huge length for a review papers. I've gone through so many review papers having 25-35 pages in published version which roughly makes it ranging between 12000-15000 words (I have attached a review paper consisting 26 pages). Instead cutting it short, you should look to find such journals which have either no word limit or allowing you 10000-12000 words. And usually, journals with lower word limit also consider a good paper despite its length beyond journal's guidelines. Wish you luck with your research.
