I am working on forced convection fluid flow.Using stream function formulation. I am using frotran code for programming but facing logical problem,I am praying anybodies help.The code I have written is

I am not sure is it right or wrong. Please help me!
The program, you have written will take an m+1 by n+1 array and convert it into an m by n that averages the 4 points surrounding the original point (n.m) but doesn't consider the actual value at position (n,m) of the original array. Is that really what you are trying to do? I expect want to the original point (n,m) should have a significant impact in the value of new array at position (n,m) and that the impact of each of the surrounding positions may not be equal.
What is the system you are trying to model? I expect "forced " convection to be a flowing material if so the mixing would also be dependent on the direction(s) of the flowing material.
This part of the code is wrong, I suspect that it should be a Jacobi (or SOR) iteration for the solution of the elliptic part. Actually. it appears that no iteration is performed.
Furthermore, you have to declare explicitly that the arrays start for the index zero, otherwise you get a memory access violation.
Furthermore, I suspect that you are working with the stream-function/vorticity formulation so the source term is the vorticity.
