I'm guessing the answer is yes, but just thought I'd ask either way.
I perfused my mice with PBS+protease and phosphatase inhibitors then dissected out the hippocampus from mice for subsequent western blot and RNA extraction. The brains were immediately placed in dry ice BUT I stupidly forgot to grab them and put them in the -80.
I realized my mistake and came back about 30 hours later and saw that there was a negligible amount of dry ice left in the covered bucket but not enough to keep the brains frozen. Are these at all salvageable or should I just figure these are done for and move on/re-do the process?
