OK, first, forget about the SWAN model ... no, more seriously, there are already 20 years of altimetry data: get the globwave dataset (e.g. ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/cersat/products/swath/altimeters/waves/ or via www.globwave.org )

Then you may check on what will a model (I mean a real model like WAVEWATCH III ;-) ) will give on the Black see when using CFSR winds.

I do have some output somewhere on my ftp :
