I am trying to pattern nanoparticles over the glass substrate by using dip pen nanolithography (DPN). Can anyone suggest me the procedure for it?

I am using DPN 5000 series for this. When I am calibrating the ink, I folowed all the steps on the manual but I couldn't get any test patterns on the substrate. Then I tried to draw the pattern on the substrate the monitor shows that lithography has been completed. But I couldn't get any patterns on the sample as I observed the sample by using AFM

in AFM to see pattern: -

you must have a conductive substrate or at least you need to coating glass substrate with conductive layer like silver or any conductive layer which inert with your film material (under thin film, part of this layer must be free from thin film) to connect it with the base of AFM stage. this process must be planed before film condensation.

if you have already thin film on glass substrate, try to separate film from substrate using double face carbon conductive tab and put past the tab on AFM stage. If you can do it carefully, i think you will see pattern of thin film.
