Hi, I am trying to get my profile affiliation verified in ResearchGate. My institution was recently added to the Research Organization Registry (ROR), with ID https://ror.org/02x2m074. However, when I type the name of the institution (Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium) in step 1 of the verification form, the name is not in your drop-down menu. Do I need to take any extra steps to get the institution in your system? (The system is not accepting questions at this point, hence my question in this forum.)

Type in your institution and institutional email address and click Continue.
When it fails with "Affiliation verification isn’t available for this institution" in red, look at the bottom of the form, underneath the Cancel and Continue buttons, and you will see text that says "Verification not available for your institution?" with a link "Send us a request."
This will open a form where you can provide them with the new ROR link.
