Hi senior, I think the maritime industry comprises of all firms or interests involved in managing and/or operating shipping lines, stevedoring, customs brokerage services, shipyards, dry docks, marine railways (if Ghana has any) , marine repair shops, shipping and freight forwarding services and similar enterprises.

Do we include fishing and offshore activities?

Hi Jonas, fishing and offshore activities are definitely part of the maritime industry. However, it is really up to you to define the scope with regards to your objectives and data availability. You could also categorize the industry into mainstream maritime and marine support (derived demand) and define your scope based on this.
