I would be happy to offer some advice, but I have some questions first:
•What color dye do you want the dye to be? Does it matter?
•Do you want a dye that will react with an amino group, and changes color because of this reaction, or just something that will react with amino residues to stain them?
•Do you want a chiral dye that is racemic, or do you just want just one enantiomer?
