I am doing my Master Thesis about the Effect of STATCOM on the power system Stability using PowerFactory Software, Could you help me in the Software? as i want to simulate the Effect of the STATCOM in both Steady state and Dynamics cases.
I think Digsilent already has model STATCOMs with relevant casefiles, which you can use to study the problem and then implement your solutions with this background knowledge.
It looks you want to show the utility of powerfactory software in solving power system stability problems with STATCOM. Since there are well established available software as mentioned by Neelotpal Mujumdar and MohamedvQuasim Taha many may not be able to provide you with full details of solving the power System Stability problem with STATCOM using powerfactory software.
