Its asked that in photo water splitting, a single hole break water molecule by absorbing photon. I want to know very simple straight forward and complete logic behind this story ? what and where are the forces that break water molecule
please help me out in this regard.

Water splitting reaction
2 H2O -> 2 H2 + O2
is thermodynamically unfavorable and requires external energy to proceed. It could be light driven (photo) or by electrochemistry. Water splitting is a combination of two half reactions: water oxidation and water reduction. Both half-reactions are complex multi-electron catalytic processes.
