Do you think that the theory of hybrid system ‘Hybrid automaton, Petri Nets, switched system …etc’ can be applied to hybrid renewable energy such as ‘Photovoltaic and wind energy’.
If yes, would you mind suggesting some research publications in this area.

The "hybrid" in hybrid systems refers to two different types of math (called discrete and continuous) that are combined to describe a complex dynamical system. I don't see any connection to the "hybrid" in energy, which refers to two different sources of energy.
