How would you research the transfer of skills (or some of them) acquired in basic military training, to the rest of population?
example: orientation - learned in basic military training; it could be learned in school as a part of education...
The result would be (I'm guessing) a model of how to transfer skills... Any ideas or direction how? or how to conduct and start the research? Maybe some existing models of that kind of skill transfer etc... Other similar researches...

The classical research on the transfer of learning processes was carried out in the USA in the period between the two world wars. It turned out that one should not exaggerate one's expectations of transfer processes, but rather pay great attention to similarity relationships from the outset, e.g. when learning foreign languages.
It is so difficult because of the meaning of 'discipline' and the implementation. For example, learning mathematics are multiple different activities in a wide spread thinking abilities.
