Class teachers are arguing that they engage in assessment for learning practices as they give tests, hw, cw and powerpoints. They say that they are engaging with it despite the fact that they knew the technical name. In contrast with this, they ask whether they need to do it in every lesson. I am perplexed, are they engaging with it, yes or no? Are they understanding its real meaning? How come they are so afraid and reluctant to participate in research, despite, their continuous cry for their voice to be heard? Then when given the opportunity, the response rate is so low.
