Atoms have very specific qualities - and are well-described by quantum mechanics. These rules are qualitatively very different from those that we see around us.
Still it is fascinating, that looking into the furthest space yields similar structures as looking into the smallest quantum world. The diameter of a helium atom is about 62x10-12 m , the diameter of the solar system (to Neptune) roughly 4.5x 10+12 m. So we humans are approximately in the middle of the magnitudes.

The filament structures are unbelievably huge: millions of light years.
