Visiting the Collection centres in the NH  museums I see that a lot of time of staff is spent to write/print the labels with a detailed information on specimens, and this voluminous info is repeated many time for similar units. From another side, the collection database specialists input a lot of fields in the databases that are not of regular use of taxonomists, and ignore many important data, such as hosts lists for helminths or insects.  How we can simplify colleaction databases and simultaneously expand the target auditorium of users?
