We have a siliceous sample which is constituted mainly by silica and quartz with calcite. We note the presence of some molluscs and rare radilaria. The chemical composition is shown below. XRD and FTIR patterns are in attached files.

I agree with Kenneth, XRD and chemistry show only pure Quartz . The presence of Al2O3 and some MgO, K2O, Fe2O3 and LOI and the FTIR indicate also the presence of some clay or chlorite. I doubt the presence of mollusks. It should be mostly radiolarian chert
