I have little experience of this type of work. I used Terminalia Arjuna (a tropical tree successfully growing in river banks of hard water areas) to remove hardness (Ca and Mg). But I dont have any published data of that research work. Please google on Terminalia Arjuna whether it can remove Na as well.
