few specimens are been taken with variation in size (by increasing primary dimension i.e. a x b x c, a+d x b x c, a+2d x b x c etc.), now the specimens are processed upto certain temp. (above melting point) and then hold and then quenched. Now how the volume w.r.t. temperature will behave in each case?

Generally, volume change with temperature depends on thermal expansion co-efficient of the material. Generally, the expansion or contraction depends on product of length or breadth or thickness, change of temperature and thermal expansion co-efficient . So, if you know it, you can easily get your answer.

but what if the same coeff. of expansion has been considered in all the specimens???
