Dear Nahid, as the first step, we should study several research articles about our own distinct object & then we should choose the type of review, the one type focus on the findings & interpretation of our reviewd articles & the other focus on common ideas & findings from our reviewd articles. The another important step is to know about elements of a review article which are: 1) title: has to include important & key terms.2) abstract: has to include the main objects, results & conclusions, on the other hand the abstract has to indicate the text structure.the third part of review article is introduction that include the explanation of topic & issue, new perspectives & gaps of our reviewd articles & the approach of text.the fourth is the body of the article that include explanation of articles that we study them and fifth (the conclusion) that is answer the research question & findings.& finally acknowledgment and references.
A good review discuses reviewd articles critically and gaps of researchs.
The purpose of a review paper is to succinctly review recent progress in a particular topic. Overall, the paper summarizes the current state of knowledge of the topic. It creates an understanding of the topic for the reader by discussing the findings presented in recent research papers.
A review paper is not a "term paper" or book report. It is not merely a report on some references you found. Instead, a review paper synthesizes the results from several primary literature papers to produce a coherent argument about a topic or focused description of a field.
