Hello everyone, I'm performing a modal transient analysis (SOL 112) of an aircraft including a control surface actuator transfer function (TF). The main objective is to excite the control surface and get the response at particular flight control system. For the above requirement, I have represented the actuator transfer function and the input is a sine wave. Since TF=Output/Input how to validate that the output is a product of Input and TF in MSC/Nastran. For further details, you can refer the presentation attached below.

The idea of TF = Output / Input is easier to visualize in the Laplace domain (a.k.a. s-domain). Since your input is a sinusoidal signal, you should use the frequency response method. In linear systems, we expect sinusoidal responses are generated when the input is a sinusoidal signal. Both input and output have the same frequency, ω.
If the input sinusoid and actuator are represented by phasors Mi(ω) ∠ϕi(ω) and Ma(ω) ∠ϕa(ω), respectively, where M is the amplitude and ϕ is the phase angle, then the steady-state output sinusoid is
Mo(ω) ∠ϕo(ω) = Mi(ω)Ma(ω) ∠[ϕi(ω) + ϕa(ω)]
where
Mo(ω) = Mi(ω)Ma(ω),
∠ϕo(ω) = ∠[ϕi(ω) + ϕa(ω)].
