It is sometimes required to follow alumni relationships and build strong base with our graduates. Such issue can be done and improved using social media. I like to see from all my connections a successful stories related to this. How to do it successfully without wasting much time.
With the advent of social media, unlike the previous generations which had the group mail Id of each batch; Nowadays people communicate and be together, but how far it would be useful depends on people connected and their relative interest to help the institution or the junior batches.

We are facing a dilemma of lost graduates as they change their e-mails and contact info. The social media fun groups (built by students) are more stable and tend to be more active, still I cannot guess if they are sustained
Now a days, students link with professors in Social networks. Quite delicate, at time it is only the professor is to keep away (or restraint) from certain posts and comments which are publicly shared within the group.
