Experimental results show that the mean particle size is affected by: (1) the types of the PCA, (2) the amount of PCA,  (3) the milling duration, 4)nature of the particles. If you mill magnesium, iron, then you need to add the stearic acid. If you mill PE, you must add solution of stearic acid in the hydrocarbon. If you mill NaCl, you must add of sodium salt of stearic acid.
