Hello,

I am currently using PLAXIS to simulate the triaxial undrained test of unsaturated soil, but I have encountered problems at present. If PLAXIS uses the simulated undrained test, the software will think that the sample is completely saturated. If an initial saturation, such as 50%, is set ,the final saturation of the soil will still be 100% after calculation.

My problem is how to effectively control the saturation of soil. Like the laboratory, after setting the initial saturation, the saturation of soil will increase slightly after the simulation.

In the attachment, I set the initial saturation to 50%. After the simulation, it shows that the saturation of the soil mass is 100%. In addition, I selected that the water line is at the bottom of the sample, the undrained type is A , and the calculation type is plastic calculation.
