How to troubleshoot a PDA 100A SI Amplified Detector?

Hello,

I have been setting up a MOKE device and was getting ready to collect data when I found my SI Amplified Detector was not giving any data to a multimeter I have connected. I want to read out voltage from the photo-detector, however, I receive a big 0.000 mV during the experiment. As I am unable to find a manual for this piece of equipment I was wondering if there is any troubleshooting operations I can preform in order to start receiving data or is the photo-detector shot.

On page 7 of the manual (part of a zip file set) you will find some hints with respect to trouble shooting.

For the sake of completeness I have attached the file.

According to chapter 4 (especially '4.5. terminating resistance') you should connect the output to an oscilloscope to monitor the voltage response...

Please have also a look at section 3 (Setup) and the precautions mentioned therein as well as in chapter 2 (electro static discharge (ESD) sensitivity). You may have killed your device already.
