I have fabricated some lithium half cell with graphite as anode and lithium chip. Can someone teach me how to set the program to running a test? I got a knowledge about that if I make a full cell, I need to charge to higher voltage (say 4.2V) then discharge it to low voltage and follow the cycle to finish the test. However, I am not sure about half cell. what sets of steps can I set for cycle and what voltage range I can apply?
For the anode half cell, the charge and discharge potential range would be
1st cycle: OCP discharge to 0.01V, than charge back to 1.5-2V, depends on which electrode you are using. But might also be variable.
I think there are tons of literature reporting on Graphite anodes. You can read thru others work and get some insight there. Here is just what I typically do with my electrode.
