Dear Sergio, for teaching Differential and Integral Calculus I suggest James Stewart's Calculus series; for Differential Equations W. Boyce and R. DiPrima, Elementary Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems; as software, I use Mathematica, but Matlab and Scilab are equally ok. Gianluca
In addition to the previous answer I want to recommend Maple. Also there was a good relatively comfortable mathematical package called Mathcad, but it is no longer supported.
Thank´s for all answers. Will the change in the teaching of Integral and Differential Calculus by softwares suffer the same discontinuity as the teaching of drawing and engineering projects caused by softwares like CAD, Solid Edge?.
