The simplest answer is electrochemistry. Pb+2 -> Pb(metal) - 2 electrons.
Any potentiostat will do this reaction. Very well established chemistry. Indeed, one can even do coulometry and electronically "count" the number of electrons in a reaction and determine Pb purity to a very high degree of accuracy and precision.
Please study electrochemistry for the fun of it! Nowadays, this is explored mainly by chemical engineers. Impossible to understand corrosion unless one has mastered electrochemistry. Always great to know something others seem to have ignored.
Did electrochemistry way back in the 1970s. Keeps showing up in projects now where other scientist are at a loss because they never took on learning it.
