In that case you have to construct a custom object and implement all the necessary interfaces. There are examples how to do this in C++ but I cannot help with that.

You haven't specified what you are exactly trying to achieve but there is always the FileSystemObject. I don't know if it's traditional but it can be implemented in many ways.
