Dear friends,

I am facing a problem with an issue of milky Haze in the coatings developed for aesthetic applications. All the layers were deposited by magnetron sputtering having thickness in nanometers.

As all knows that the high transmission low emissivity coatings will have a silver layer for blocking the IR light in the infrared region. Also, the silver layer having an advantage in such applications for providing better Solar heat gain coefficient and Low emissivity.

To develop such coatings the coated glasses should undergo thermal treatment at 650 degrees to make the glass and coating non-temperable. During this process, I am facing an issue of the formation of a milky haze in the coated glass after muffle.

kindly suggest which way and how to select and proceed for further action for developing the high transmission low emissivity coatings.
