I have solved that problem using optimization toolbox and converted maximization function into minimization by multiplying -1 to all equation. But in optimized values that function is showing negative values ( which is not possible because that function is Material Removal Rate which will be always positive) because of that multiplication of -1. How to resolve the problem???

Are you using fmincon? put -1 in front of objective function rest remains the same if the optimal value, if material removal rate needs to be greater than zero then define a constraint around it... I guess it should solve your problem!!!
