I have a student encountering the following issue with the extension, could someone assist us with that?

"the GIS Labs have ArcGIS 10.5 installed, so I installed the correct version of the HEC-GeoRAS 10.5 too but then the problem is that once I try and activate the extension on ArcGIS it reads "this is HEC-GeoRAS 10.1 for ArcMap 10.1" 

So I'm not entirely sure why it says I have downloaded HEC-GeoRAS 10.1 when I've confirmed that it is 10.5. 

I tried following some of the issues and questions that were posted about the different versions available on the downloading website but nothing helped."
