I would like to know more on the emission mechanism during solar flare.
It is an excellent question. You have asked on the methodology for simulating X-ray emissions during solar flare.
• Most significantly, a similarity was noticed in the emissions between XRF (particularly Rb XRF) source and solar spectrum. (Ref 1 below).
• Nearly 153 Solar lines can be reproduced at the laboratory from radioisotopes (Ref 2).
• Peruse how solar physicists such as woods et al from University of Colorado measured solar spectra from last 50 years (Ref 1).
• Using the same equipment Woods et al used, you can reproduce solar lines using radioisotopes listed in Table in the following paper (Ref 2).
