I'm trying to simulate the pyrolysis process of an RDF sample in vertical tube furnace.
I like to include this reaction in my simulation using Comsol Multi-physics :
Cm Hn Ol + (m/2 - l/2)O2 => mCO+n/2H2
Should I identify the (m,n,l) as variables, if so how can I do it ?!

Different CHO combinations have different properties, so I don't think it's scientific to set m n l as a variable. I think you could give multiple values of m n l, assume there are 111, 222, 333 (I know this isn't right, but it's just an assumption) then add each of these substances and the corresponding kinetic data to the chemical setup and achieve what you want by modulating the ratio of these substances. Just a suggestion, not necessarily the right one, give it a try.
