You need to select the required parameters for your design such as voltage and current ripple levels as well THD, then analyze your circuit based on theses data.

i didn't get it.I am designing 6 pulses (2 level ) SPWM inverter with fundamental voltage and THD at output .
- out of THD analysis, you please select dominant harmonics. It is good, if u design shunt filter. Use resonant frequency calculation and fix the value of any element i.e either C or L (depends on availability), then design other one.
