How can we make the rating of a battery in MATLAB/Simulink to Amp-sec instead of Amp-hour? I have tried with reducing the factor of 3600 to 1 inside the battery block. Is this approach completely correct? Please suggest a clear solution to this problem.

Yes is you want to scale the time from hours to seconds you only need to divide by 3600 which the conversion of time from hours to seconds.
But you must be aware that you scaled the battery capacity by 3600 times. The resulting battery will have very small capacity.
I do not know your motivation to do that. To have the same capacity your numbers will get very large.

It is better to make your own battery model instead of an existing model in Simulink.
