Aluminum is reactive at a pH > 9 and pH < 4, so I can't use it strongly acidic/basic samples. The other common DSC materials are all metals that are fairly reactive as well. The ideal pan material would be Teflon, but there doesn't seem to be any teflon pans available. Anyone know what the typical procedure is for testing highly acidic / basic materials in the DSC?
